How to choose the right ONLINE florist for your wedding day

Roses or carnations? Lilies or orchids? Endless classic choices that you are tempted to go for while planning your big day and the flower decorations that come with it. Well, don’t sweat it out because there is another option instead of running to a hundred flower shops day in and day out. Order flowers online. Why? Because it saves you all the time for one and if you already know what you want it will cost you a lot less as well. Additionally, you won’t be left with the hassle of arrangements and delivery at home as that also is all taken care of. Having said that, there are number of things that can go wrong if you aren’t careful. Let us look at some of the pointers you must keep in mind.

Know your florist

When choosing an online florist, keep in mind the reviews and the reputation that your online florist has. If you have a personal reference, nothing better. but if don’t, go through their website and reviews carefully, maybe get in touch with a couple of old customers and verify their testimonials – good or bad. When you seem fairly convinced about their credentials, contact them to send you a portfolio of works that they have done so far. Go through the work they have already done and type of themes that they have worked on.

Kind of support they offer

Customer engagement is everything. Your florist should be able to fully understand the inputs that you are giving him and customer service should be able to give you suggestions on how best you can go about your flower arrangements. They should take into consideration the kind of light setting that you want to have, the colour theme of the wedding whether you are going for contrasts or pastels, the attire that you and your man will be donning on. All these might not seem important to flower decor, but they have a massive impact on it. all the elements need to be in marriage with each other for your flower arrangements to work at the same time not be the odd man out or overwhelm.

Check the terms and conditions

Before giving a final go ahead and making a payment, be sure to check what service levels you have agreed to. Right from the initial payment, the quality of the flowers, the time and delivery which is the most essential part, and how long they will stay fresh and how they are to be stored if they are arriving earlier than the scheduled time of their arrangements. Make sure you have a proper agreement with the florist on all of the above parameters. Some florists deliver the flowers and keep them stored in a particular way and extend a service for them to be installed so you don’t have to bother yourself with that either. In case you have a wedding planner, you can leave it to him/her to do that or make them work in sync with the florist to get the show up and running.
